The audience thought a goal was coming when Mikael Hammarbäck got free with Vedat Nezir in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vedat Nezir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lei Feng Ke in the 10th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's Şerif Cihansah got a free kick in the 16th minute. Lei Feng Ke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Vedat Nezir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nurettin Onay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Dan Söderström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lei Feng Ke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Lei Feng Ke's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vedat Nezir was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. In the 30th minute, Lei Feng Ke left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sundets Pärla FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Resul Eralkan kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Mikael Hammarbäck took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vedat Nezir. Vedat Nezir dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. When Lei Feng Ke came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Sundets Pärla FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lei Feng Ke couldn't finish the play. Resul Eralkan made in the 41st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sundets Pärla FC's Clodoveo Fliz. In the 44th minute, Mikael Hammarbäck reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vedat Nezir. The goal made the score 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lei Feng Ke to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Sundets Pärla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Şerif Cihansah came free, but Dan Söderström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sundets Pärla FC's attentive Marko Andreasson managed to snatch the ball when Resul Eralkan made a throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 55th minute, Resul Eralkan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Lei Feng Ke came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Sundets Pärla FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lei Feng Ke couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute, Mikael Hammarbäck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vedat Nezir was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 61 minutes into the game, Tarık Isfahanlı was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sundets Pärla FC the free kick. In the 64thth minute of the game Michel Frisck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's Vedat Nezir was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 66 minutes into the game, Sundets Pärla FC's Mikael Hammarbäck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vedat Nezir made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. 69 minutes into the game, Sundets Pärla FC's Lei Feng Ke nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sundets Pärla FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikael Hammarbäck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michel Frisck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sundets Pärla FC fully deserved thier win.
