After 20 played minutes Guillelme Lomas rounded ✪ XV de Umarizal's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yves Passot got free with Domingo Bulnes in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ✪ XV de Umarizal's Domingo Bulnes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save ✪ XV de Umarizal from getting a goal against them. Orlondo Ferreros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lionel 梅西, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35thth minute of the game Lionel 梅西 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montevideo City Torque's Orlondo Ferreros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Alkestis Papadopulos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montevideo City Torque's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ✪ XV de Umarizal the free kick. In the 37th match minute, Montevideo City Torque was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alkestis Papadopulos to maneuver through the defense. The ✪ XV de Umarizal fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when ✪ XV de Umarizal's Lionel 梅西 looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of ✪ XV de Umarizal booed when Montevideo City Torque was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alkestis Papadopulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orlondo Ferreros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lionel 梅西 in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lionel 梅西 was the one to do the kick off. Reuben Meade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Domingo Bulnes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, ✪ XV de Umarizal's Valdomiro Ribeiro got a free kick in the 57th minute. Montevideo City Torque made a substitution. Poncio Echaniz replaced Reuben Meade. If Lionel 梅西 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yves Passot in the 65th minute of play forced ✪ XV de Umarizal's goalkeeper Domingo Bulnes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute Yves Passot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Bulnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Montevideo City Torque defense, Fabrício Jardel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Orlondo Ferreros. The Montevideo City Torque fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Orlondo Ferreros should have stopped the shot. 85 minutes into the match, Montevideo City Torque's goal looked a bit too open when Fabrício Jardel came free, but Orlondo Ferreros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yves Passot's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Domingo Bulnes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Yves Passot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Bulnes having to interfere. Orlondo Ferreros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrício Jardel in the 93rd minute of the match. ✪ XV de Umarizal were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Montevideo City Torque's much stronger midfield.
