The referee ignored Mota 2017's protests and gave Eliseu Senna a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Mota 2017 getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Eliseu Senna hit a great ball. In the 7th minute, Wictor Biörkquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Torgeir Phan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cai Shi Feng, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yu Ke Hui in the 14th minute of play forced Mota 2017's goalkeeper Torgeir Phan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torgeir Phan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kostas Kelaidonis in the 16th minute of the match. Torgeir Phan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kostas Kelaidonis in the 17th minute of play. Mota 2017's Torgeir Phan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yu Ke Hui in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Navigators's Cai Shi Feng nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Torgeir Phan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Torgeir Phan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yu Ke Hui in the 30th minute of play. In the 30thth minute of the game Yu Ke Hui who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mota 2017's Torgeir Phan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mota 2017's Romário de Lara managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by İlker Uğurhan in the 34 minute of the game. Torgeir Phan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cai Shi Feng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucjan Ludwa lost his temper 44 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cai Shi Feng was the one to do the kick off. Torgeir Phan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yu Ke Hui in the 54th minute of the match. Cai Shi Feng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Navigators made a substitution. Gabri Lozano replaced Atacan Erdemli. Navigators's Ahmet Malik was substituted for Kostas Kelaidonis. In the 62nd minute Léo Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yavuz Bülent Akbatu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Mota 2017's goal looked a bit too open when Özbek Tokur came free, but Torgeir Phan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Ahmet Malik dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Torgeir Phan, 0-4. Mota 2017's Tomé Corrêa was substituted for Wictor Biörkquist. Cai Shi Feng received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Torgeir Phan came out and tried to block the shot, but Cai Shi Feng slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 73rd minute. After 82 played minutes Mota 2017 got a freekick which was hit by Eliseu Senna. Mota 2017's Fred Alvarenga was substituted for Gualter de Lara. The supporters of Navigators booed when Mota 2017 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseu Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mota 2017's attentive Romário de Lara managed to snatch the ball when İlker Uğurhan made a throw-in in the 94th minute of the game. 96 minutes into the game, Mota 2017's Léo Lopes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yavuz Bülent Akbatu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Navigators's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
