Bartolome Moracia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Nueva having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Jorge Torcida kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Juan Nueva. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. If Miliano Roza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by NŠ MURA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gabriel Labiada was slow to take the kick. During this time Caaguazu's players had a chance to rest. If Miliano Roza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olo Uriarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bine Šerjak in the 24th minute of the match. After 26 minutes, Jorge Torcida made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. NŠ MURA's Juan Nueva tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 34 minutes into the match, Caaguazu's goal looked a bit too open when Bine Šerjak came free, but Olo Uriarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th match minute, Caaguazu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Labiada to maneuver through the defense. Olo Uriarte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Onur Ali Okuyan's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Caaguazu made a substitution. Beltza Rubin replaced Pankracy Kasiewski. Caaguazu's Jorge Torcida got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Caaguazu's Olo Uriarte got control of the ball when Borut Cafuta tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 57thth minute of the game Jorge Torcida who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NŠ MURA's Juan Nueva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 60 played minutes Caaguazu got a freekick which was hit by Gilesindo Tarapiella. In the 65th minute NŠ MURA were awarded a corner. Onur Ali Okuyan went to the cornerflag to take it. Miliano Roza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Onur Ali Okuyan struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Olo Uriarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NŠ MURA. Jorge Torcida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Juan Nueva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juan Nueva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Torcida in the 85th minute of the match. NŠ MURA's Naim Trafela pulled a muscle in his back after 86 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 86 minutes into the game, Jorge Torcida was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caaguazu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NŠ MURA the free kick. NŠ MURA made a substitution. Erazem Krulc replaced Naim Trafela. NŠ MURA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
