Svend Betz in the 4thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Baldomero Shantala, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 4th play minutes Svend Betz shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Baldomero Shantala and just under the crossbar into goal. 8 minutes into the game, Svend Betz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Baldomero Shantala. Svend Betz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 10th minute, Jaime Egaña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the FSX UNITED defense, Segundo Marko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ye Wei. The FSX UNITED fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ye Wei should have stopped the shot. After 25 minutes Skorpions FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Karl-Åke Kvist who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Zebastian Spets managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Ye Wei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renatinho Lago in the 31st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as FSX UNITED's Svend Betz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Baldomero Shantala. That made the score 3-2 after 33 minutes of play. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Skorpions FC's goalkeeper Baldomero Shantala, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ye Wei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Marko in the 37th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Svend Betz managed to get in a good position for a shot. FSX UNITED's supporters rose to their feet, but Svend Betz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomero Shantala breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Renatinho Lago in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ye Wei saved FSX UNITED from getting behind. Ye Wei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Naim Ünal in the 47th minute of the match.

In the 51st minute Svend Betz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Shantala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Svend Betz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Skorpions FC's goalkeeper Baldomero Shantala, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FSX UNITED's Thomas Cochrane was substituted for Evelio Matetich. FSX UNITED made a substitution. Amancio Baesler replaced Svend Betz. In the 59th minute of the match FSX UNITED got a corner. Skorpions FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Thomas Cochrane ran over to the corner to take the kick. Víctor Javier Ebensperger made a great header on FSX UNITED's corner, it was just that Skorpions FC's Baldomero Shantala managed to reach the ball for a save. 59 minutes into the game, FSX UNITED's Víctor Javier Ebensperger nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baldomero Shantala made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. 62 minutes into the game, Felix Udalaitz lined in a short shot 5-3 behind a frustrated Ye Wei. In the 75th minute, Amancio Baesler made a precise shot to the right of Baldomero Shantala. Skorpions FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-3. The audience was convinced that Amancio Baesler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baldomero Shantala was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Ye Wei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Udalaitz in the 84th minute. Baldomero Shantala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Baesler in the 85th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Amancio Baesler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baldomero Shantala was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Segundo Marko got free with Ye Wei in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 95 minutes of play, FSX UNITED's Amancio Baesler made it 7-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baldomero Shantala was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FSX UNITED fans cheered their team off the field, for while Skorpions FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
