Seating: 32, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Apolo Paez started the match with the kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Lázaro Ekain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GARIBALDI FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lázaro Ekain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Espínola Cabañero charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Espínola Cabañero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Aguirres getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Espínola Cabañero hit a great ball. Miro Rohrer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Ekain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute Lázaro Ekain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miro Rohrer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Brock Friend made a precise shot to the right of Rene Llorian. GARIBALDI FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, GARIBALDI FC's Astor Colon got a free kick in the 18th minute. Apolo Paez was extremely unlucky when he, in the 20th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Aguirres were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after GARIBALDI FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Geronimo Medina took the corner. Aguirres's Geronimo Medina was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rene Llorian in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Brock Friend received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Rene Llorian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brock Friend fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Llorian having to interfere. After 31 played minutes GARIBALDI FC got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Silbestre. The crowd rose to their feet as Brock Friend kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rene Llorian. That made the score 2-1 in the 32 minute of play. Rene Llorian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brock Friend in the 35th minute. Rene Llorian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apolo Paez in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to Aguirres getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Jairo Moita hit a great ball. Rene Llorian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Paez in the 45th minute of the match.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ambrosio Colas to make the kick off. With a little luck, Aguirres's Miro Rohrer got control of the ball when Lázaro Ekain tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benedicto Silbestre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Miro Rohrer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miro Rohrer made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Lázaro Ekain sent off a good shot on target. Miro Rohrer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lázaro Ekain in the 59th minute. Aguirres made a substitution. Eduardo Jerano replaced Brock Friend. Aguirres's Luisito Koldo was substituted for Balázs Bodnár. GARIBALDI FC:s Rene Llorian showed great skill when he stopped Geronimo Medina:s penalty. In the 71st minute, Geronimo Medina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rene Llorian was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. GARIBALDI FC's Eduard Hourani was substituted for Astor Colon. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eduard Hourani in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miro Rohrer saved Aguirres from getting behind. A collision led to GARIBALDI FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Guillermo Ezkerra hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the match, GARIBALDI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Jerano came free, but Rene Llorian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Apolo Paez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Eduardo Jerano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aguirres's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Jerano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rene Llorian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Miro Rohrer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erubiel Dubardo in the 95th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Aguirres had won after a very even match.
