Carlinhos Félix blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonides Velasco having to make a save. In the 22nd minute Carlinhos Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Rolando Corderun got a free kick in the 24th minute. 27 minutes into the game, Here Comes the Hammer's Carlinhos Félix nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonides Velasco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Valter Klack showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nemesio Rios in the 31st minute of the match. Robert Christoffersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonides Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlinhos Félix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Club A. Chipa y Tereré players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Here Comes the Hammer were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hipolito Beliran was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Robert Christoffersson put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Leonides Velasco. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Leonides Velasco successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Leonides Velasco stood somewhat misplaced when Carlinhos Félix came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 58 minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bukkus Bonk took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonides Velasco. Leonides Velasco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. After 83 played minutes Here Comes the Hammer got a freekick which was hit by Robert Christoffersson. 86 minutes into the match, Club A. Chipa y Tereré's goalkeeper Leonides Velasco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robert Christoffersson. Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Leonides Velasco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Club A. Chipa y Tereré from getting a goal against them. Leonides Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bukkus Bonk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Here Comes the Hammer booed when Club A. Chipa y Tereré was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgardo Pietro didn't get a good kick on the ball.
