Emil Wahlström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adalberto Figueiredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 20th minute Sven-Oskar Åhman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Sanna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sven-Oskar Åhman, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 33 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Alvaro Sanna was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The Sporting Club Sicilia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Sven-Oskar Åhman made the kick off in the second half. Alvaro Sanna made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Sven-Oskar Åhman sent off a good shot on target. Emil Wahlström came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Club Sicilia's Concetto De Nardis. But to his dismay, Concetto De Nardis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. When Leonardo Persson came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Hogans Heroes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Persson couldn't finish the play. Sporting Club Sicilia's Alvaro Sanna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harry Forssell in the 90th minute of play. Sven-Oskar Åhman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Alvaro Sanna when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Sporting Club Sicilia booed when Hogans Heroes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdemar Ivarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute, Marick Hofmeester sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Hogans Heroes's Emil Wahlström didn't even have to move. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
