In the 3rd minute Luciano Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilmar Quadros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrian Clis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zayvion Ispuzua went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Gilmar Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zayvion Ispuzua in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adrian Clis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zayvion Ispuzua let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 18th minute shot 3-0 at rihgt post. Imperio Académico's Adrian Clis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zayvion Ispuzua in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute Ismael Jerrold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilmar Quadros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27 minutes Imperio Académico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Perlaza Lena who took care of the corner kick. Bradford Scalzo made a great header on Barcelona de América's corner, it was just that Imperio Académico's Adrian Clis managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Imperio Académico booed when Barcelona de América was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Sitnieks didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zayvion Ispuzua recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Imperio Académico's goal looked a bit too open when Zayvion Ispuzua came free, but Adrian Clis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Imperio Académico's Jesus Quiroga got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute Zayvion Ispuzua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Clis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilmar Quadros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Vidal in the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zayvion Ispuzua in the 39th minute of play forced Imperio Académico's goalkeeper Adrian Clis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Clis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zayvion Ispuzua, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. If Zayvion Ispuzua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barcelona de América made a substitution. Caetano Levandowsky replaced Zayvion Ispuzua. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Ismael Jerrold made the kick off in the second half. Barcelona de América's Perlaza Lena quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Roque Lehen, made in the 60th minute of the game. Ismael Jerrold could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Gilmar Quadros made a huge save. Adrian Clis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Levandowsky in the 64th minute of the match. After 65 minutes Imperio Académico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Perlaza Lena who took care of the corner kick. A very nice done corner allowed Hugo Sitnieks to score against Adrian Clis in Imperio Académico's goal. 4-0 after 65 minutes. With a little luck, Barcelona de América's Gilmar Quadros got control of the ball when Amador Igon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gilmar Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Jerrold in the 72nd minute of play. Barcelona de América made a substitution. Ronaldinho Gentenaar replaced Perlaza Lena. Barcelona de América's Robin Puttemans was substituted for Thomas Ravousis. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Gilmar Quadros successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Imperio Académico's goalkeeper Adrian Clis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Caetano Levandowsky had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adrian Clis. Imperio Académico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Caetano Levandowsky was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Gilmar Quadros was a little too slow when Amador Igon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 6-1. 94 minutes into the match, Caetano Levandowsky had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adrian Clis. Imperio Académico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Caetano Levandowsky was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Imperio Académico players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Barcelona de América.
