Jardel Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Flinta in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Catadão's goal looked a bit too open when Ludvig Ahlroth came free, but Jardel Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Chu Yun Lei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Aznar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Catadão getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Oswaldo do Vale hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Augustin Balțoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Catadão's Jardel Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Flinta in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Joxa mé trasan's goalkeeper Claudio Aznar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cebrail Yamanöz. After some careless play in the Catadão defense, Fred Flinta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jardel Reis. The Catadão fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jardel Reis should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Joxa mé trasan getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Stasio Merski hit a great ball. Joxa mé trasan's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Chu Yun Lei scored to the left of an out of position Claudio Aznar, making the score, 1-1. Joxa mé trasan's attentive Thomas Lundin managed to snatch the ball when Pedrão Mesquita made a throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game. In the 42nd minute Ludvig Ahlroth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jardel Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cebrail Yamanöz to make the kick off. Joxa mé trasan's Thomas Lundin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Pedrão Mesquita, made in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 53rd minute, Hernani Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute, Ove Löfgren sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Catadão's Jardel Reis didn't even have to move. Claudio Aznar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cebrail Yamanöz, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The audience was convinced that Cebrail Yamanöz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudio Aznar was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Catadão's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Chu Yun Lei in the 61st minute. Catadão's Silvério Madureira was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Claudio Aznar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Catadão's Cebrail Yamanöz in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Cebrail Yamanöz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claudio Aznar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Ludvig Ahlroth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 81 minutes into the game, Pedrão Mesquita threw the ball into play from the sideline. Joxa mé trasan's Thomas Lundin quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 84 minutes into the match, Catadão's goal looked a bit too open when Ludvig Ahlroth came free, but Jardel Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Cebrail Yamanöz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claudio Aznar. Joxa mé trasan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cebrail Yamanöz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chu Yun Lei in the 94th minute of play forced Joxa mé trasan's goalkeeper Claudio Aznar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Catadão players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
