Clemente Benvido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Monsanto in the 11th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sporting Tuga FC's Manuel Matias got a free kick in the 12th minute. If Lucas Monsanto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alfredo Santana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aristides Villanueva in the 16th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Ricky Kalischer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canalla Fuego's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricky Kalischer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Santana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aristides Villanueva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sporting Tuga FC's Alfredo Santana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Tuga FC from getting a goal against them. Aristides Villanueva's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Alfredo Santana skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 34th minute Aristides Villanueva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 36 minutes, Aristides Villanueva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canalla Fuego's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aristides Villanueva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th match minute, Sporting Tuga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nasko Vitev to maneuver through the defense. Aristides Villanueva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Alfredo Santana made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Sporting Tuga FC's Leal Vilela got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 48th minute of the match, Aristides Villanueva got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alfredo Santana was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.

The audience was convinced that Carlos Aimar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredo Santana was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Figueiredo got free with Clemente Benvido in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ricky Kalischer was slow to take the kick. During this time Canalla Fuego's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Aimar in the 74th minute of play forced Sporting Tuga FC's goalkeeper Alfredo Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Carlos Figueiredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Canalla Fuego's Romeo Lon was substituted for Faustino Egoi. The Canalla Fuego fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sporting Tuga FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
