Spectators: 156 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Albeiro Usuriaga started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Realsamesta's Horaţiu Amânaloae got a free kick in the 11th minute. Albeiro Usuriaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Benvido having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Realsamesta's goal looked a bit too open when Ricky Kalischer came free, but Conny Blom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Realsamesta's Conny Blom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Villanueva in the 26th minute of play. Conny Blom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricky Kalischer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Victorino Hermelando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute Aristides Villanueva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conny Blom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Conny Blom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricky Kalischer, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 53rd minute of the match, Carlos Aimar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Conny Blom was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Realsamesta's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ricky Kalischer was slow to take the kick. During this time Canalla Fuego's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Canalla Fuego's Ricky Kalischer to fire away a dangerous shot which Conny Blom despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 58th minute, Carlos Aimar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Conny Blom. The goal made the score 0-1. With a little luck, Realsamesta's Conny Blom got control of the ball when Carlos Aimar tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Realsamesta fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Realsamesta's Albeiro Usuriaga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Conny Blom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Rosini, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Realsamesta's goalie and right to Ciro Rosini. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Realsamesta's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Canalla Fuego made a substitution. Romeo Lon replaced Faustino Egoi. 75 minutes into the game, Canalla Fuego's Carlos Aimar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Conny Blom made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Conny Blom was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Ciro Rosini capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ciro Rosini really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. After a rather tough play, Realsamesta's Silverio Etxekopar got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 90 minutes into the game, Carlos Aimar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Conny Blom was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Canalla Fuego's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
