The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dante Rafe scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Şanver Başaran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Horacio Cedro made a kick off. A.D.Berazategui's supporters rose to their feet, but Carmelo Claus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Akşemseddin Taran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 83 minutes into the match, Tytus Jaszcz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Şanver Başaran, 0-2. Leonel Cefero got his second yellow card in the match during the 89th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Metapalo FC's Pascual Rambert was substituted for Alfonso Rayman. If Dante Rafe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Şanver Başaran managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Metapalo FC's Dante Rafe fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Metapalo FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Metapalo FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
