The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Theagenis Giannou stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Elodio's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. David Elodio took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Theagenis Giannou. Theagenis Giannou dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some careless play in the FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO defense, David Elodio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Theagenis Giannou. The FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Theagenis Giannou should have stopped the shot. In the 16th minute David Elodio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theagenis Giannou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guilherme Zanette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stasio Lewkowicz in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Elodio in the 23rd minute of play forced FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's goalkeeper Theagenis Giannou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Theagenis Giannou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Elodio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Désiré Kaká kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Guilherme Zanette. That made the score 1-2 in the 28 minute of play. In the 32nd minute of the match, Nunez Amato got a very nice opportunity to score, but Guilherme Zanette was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 34 minutes into the match, FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's goal looked a bit too open when David Elodio came free, but Theagenis Giannou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Renan Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valerios Neochoritis was the one to do the kick off. Guilherme Zanette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stasio Lewkowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Theagenis Giannou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robert Serwacki in the 55th minute. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s André Luís Zanette was substituted for David Elodio. In the 60th minute, ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s André Luís Zanette dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. In the 63rd match minute, FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilias Porneos to maneuver through the defense. André Luís Zanette's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Theagenis Giannou read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Robert Serwacki took the corner. The corner led ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Robert Serwacki to fire away a dangerous shot which Theagenis Giannou despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Luís Zanette in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Theagenis Giannou saved FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's zone, André Luís Zanette stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Theagenis Giannou came out of the goal and André Luís Zanette tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's Konstantinos Megas was substituted for Christos Christodoulopoulos. Theagenis Giannou came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s André Luís Zanette. But to his dismay, André Luís Zanette quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. After 77 minutes of play, ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s André Luís Zanette made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Theagenis Giannou was left in no man's land by his defense there! 87 minutes into the game, André Luís Zanette cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Theagenis Giannou was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 1-8 when André Luís Zanette sped through FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Theagenis Giannou.
