After 3 minutes, Raimundo Ventura made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Pink Floyd's Fernando Gartxot tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 5 minutes into the match, Raimundo Ventura had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernando Gartxot. Pink Floyd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raimundo Ventura was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 8 minutes of play, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Rodolfo Faria made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernando Gartxot was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 10th minute, Raimundo Ventura made a precise shot to the right of Fernando Gartxot. Pink Floyd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 13th minute, Claudemiro Madureira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernando Gartxot was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. In the 16th minute, Raimundo Ventura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 17th minute, Gonzalo Lixandro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th minute, Claudemiro Madureira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Raimundo Ventura struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Fernando Gartxot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.. 23 minutes into the match, Gonzalo Lixandro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernando Gartxot. Claudemiro Madureira scored 0-10 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernando Gartxot, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Pink Floyd defense, Rodolfo Faria kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Gartxot. The Pink Floyd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Gartxot should have stopped the shot. Cirilo Tebaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Qiu Chuan Ran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Raimundo Ventura cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-12. Fernando Gartxot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 48 minutes into the match, Pink Floyd's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Lixandro came free, but Fernando Gartxot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Pink Floyd players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. were winning 0-12.

53 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Faria notched a goal, 0-13, to the right of Pink Floyd's Fernando Gartxot. Fernando Gartxot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 55 minutes into the game, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Rodolfo Faria nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernando Gartxot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-14. Fernando Gartxot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Ventura in the 60th minute of play. Raimundo Ventura scored 0-16 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernando Gartxot, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Pink Floyd defense, Rodolfo Faria kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Gartxot. The Pink Floyd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Gartxot should have stopped the shot. Fernando Gartxot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudemiro Madureira in the 76th minute of play. Fernando Gartxot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Lixandro, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Fernando Gartxot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodolfo Faria in the 79th minute. Fernando Gartxot came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Gonzalo Lixandro. But to his dismay, Gonzalo Lixandro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-18. If Cristobal Lizer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Gartxot came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Rodolfo Faria. But to his dismay, Rodolfo Faria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-19. In the 90th play minute Raimundo Ventura came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fernando Gartxot. 0-20. After 94 played minutes, Pink Floyd's Fernando Vela shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Qiu Chuan Ran came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pink Floyd reached it. The supporters of Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. booed when Pink Floyd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Vela didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pink Floyd throughout the match.
