Valencia Santa Fe's Jeronimo Dantel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Cordeara in the 15th minute of play. Kaká Moraes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, 俞锋烽 skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Desiderio Florian managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mao Sheng Ting in the 17 minute of the game. Kaká Moraes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but 俞锋烽 made a huge save. 22 minutes into the match, NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's goalkeeper 俞锋烽 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Inocente. With a little luck, NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's 俞锋烽 got control of the ball when Kaká Moraes tried to sneak it across the goal line. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Felipe Inocente was slow to take the kick. During this time Valencia Santa Fe's players had a chance to rest. In the 30th minute, Kaká Moraes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 俞锋烽 was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After a rather tough play, NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Conrado Lluciano got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Kaká Moraes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of 俞锋烽 when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kaká Moraes in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 俞锋烽 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 俞锋烽 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Inocente in the 35th minute of the match. 俞锋烽 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Inocente in the 36th minute. Felipe Inocente received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. 俞锋烽 came out and tried to block the shot, but Felipe Inocente slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 36th minute. Felipe Inocente blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 俞锋烽 having to make a save. Felipe Inocente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the match, NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's goalkeeper 俞锋烽 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kaká Moraes. After 46 minutes of play, Valencia Santa Fe's Felipe Inocente made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 俞锋烽 was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kaká Moraes to strike the kick off in the second half. 俞锋烽 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernst Murumaa in the 58th minute of the match. Kaká Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. When Valencia Santa Fe's Kaká Moraes in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's goalie prevented a goal. NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Vinicio Walme quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mao Sheng Ting, made in the 66th minute of the game. After having played for 71 minutes, Hermengildo Cordeara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermengildo Cordeara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valencia Santa Fe made a substitution. Gonzalo Guedes replaced Roque Arias. 俞锋烽 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaká Moraes in the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaká Moraes in the 83rd minute of play forced NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's goalkeeper 俞锋烽 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 84 minutes NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Felipe Inocente who took care of the corner kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Arnoldo Montrell got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 4-0. 85 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute Felipe Inocente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 俞锋烽 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Valencia Santa Fe's Kaká Moraes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 俞锋烽 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonzalo Guedes in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 俞锋烽 saved NEWELL´S OLD BOYS from getting behind. 94 minutes into the game, Valencia Santa Fe's Gonzalo Guedes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 俞锋烽 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Valencia Santa Fe had played much better football throughout.
