In the 10th minute Slawomir Wojciechowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhao Ran Ming saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 played minutes KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A got a freekick which was hit by Gianluca Scamacca. Greg McMahon's late challenge caught a KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Greg McMahon helped the player get up and apologised. KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Xuacu Xuan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zack Doughty in the 24th minute of play. When KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Slawomir Wojciechowski in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Xuacu Xuan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Slawomir Wojciechowski in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zhao Ran Ming prevented the ball from getting in the gole. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Camilo Ferrara made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Coventry Wasps's zone, Gianluca Scamacca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zhao Ran Ming came out of the goal and Gianluca Scamacca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Coventry Wasps getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Camilo Ferrara hit a great ball. Xuacu Xuan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Ferrara, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Camilo Ferrara in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xuacu Xuan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Xuacu Xuan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Ferrara in the 71st minute of play. In the 79th minute, Cornelius Baxter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Camilo Ferrara in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 90th minute of the match Elías Olsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zhao Ran Ming skillfully saved the ball. Many of KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A may have spent more time on the ball, but Coventry Wasps were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
