A sloppy throw-in by Marcelo Osório in the 3rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Tirant lo Blanch's Dabi Barba. After some careless play in the Ciudad Tao FC defense, Jorge Carmona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vincenzo Landa. The Ciudad Tao FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vincenzo Landa should have stopped the shot. Leonard Treppa scored 0-2 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vincenzo Landa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ciudad Tao FC's Vincenzo Landa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Treppa in the 17th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Ciudad Tao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Treppa came free, but Vincenzo Landa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute Leonard Treppa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincenzo Landa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Kamal Pahlevi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 30 minutes Tirant lo Blanch's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joakim Vennerlund who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Joakim Vennerlund got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kamal Pahlevi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Marcelo Osório made in the 34th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Joakim Vennerlund immediately put the ball in play. Kamal Pahlevi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osmar Goiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, Leonard Treppa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vincenzo Landa. Ciudad Tao FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonard Treppa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Leonard Treppa struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Vincenzo Landa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tirant lo Blanch. After the first half Tirant lo Blanch were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Vincenzo Landa was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Leonard Treppa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leonard Treppa really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Ciudad Tao FC's Joel Sandström was substituted for Osmar Goiano. Ciudad Tao FC made a substitution. Tomas Ciudad replaced Miron Zabel. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonard Treppa in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vincenzo Landa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Tirant lo Blanch defense, Tomas Ciudad kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kamal Pahlevi. The Tirant lo Blanch fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kamal Pahlevi should have stopped the shot. Tomas Ciudad scored 2-5 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kamal Pahlevi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Tirant lo Blanch booed when Ciudad Tao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Osório didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tirant lo Blanch's Jefferson Pinheiro was substituted for García Diez. After 75 played minutes Ciudad Tao FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Osório. Ciudad Tao FC's Vincenzo Landa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmen Paniagua in the 83rd minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Carmen Paniagua had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vincenzo Landa. The crowd rose to their feet as Carmen Paniagua kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vincenzo Landa. That made the score 3-7 in the 94 minute of play.
