Darnell Metcalf took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claude Erosa. Claude Erosa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 19 minutes into the match, Ona Somrient FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonah Ryan came free, but Claude Erosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claude Erosa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonah Ryan went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Fernan Alcantara in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arvin Hökkvist, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Rodolfo Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claude Erosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anoush Khalatbari in the 35th minute of the match. In the 38thth minute of the game Jonah Ryan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ona Somrient FC's Claude Erosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. American Airlines were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Ona Somrient FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Darnell Metcalf took the corner. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kobe Bryant was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernan Alcantara in the 51st minute of play forced American Airlines's goalkeeper Arvin Hökkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 51st minute Fernan Alcantara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arvin Hökkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernan Alcantara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Arvin Hökkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute, American Airlines's Jonah Ryan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Claude Erosa. Claude Erosa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. 58 minutes into the match, Ona Somrient FC's goalkeeper Claude Erosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonah Ryan. Ona Somrient FC's Fernan Alcantara got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 66 played minutes American Airlines got a freekick which was hit by Robbin De Brouwer. Ona Somrient FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nechifor Hârșu in the 68th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Fernan Alcantara heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 71st minute Anoush Khalatbari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claude Erosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Kobe Bryant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ona Somrient FC's Martin Silbestre was substituted for Enzo Herrero. Ona Somrient FC's Claude Erosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Ona Somrient FC from getting a goal against them. Claude Erosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darnell Metcalf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute Kobe Bryant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arvin Hökkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Ona Somrient FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Turi Guijarro hit a great ball. Claude Erosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonah Ryan, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. American Airlines had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
