The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Azam Sum stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernesto Baldovino's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Moodys IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ernesto Baldovino was slow to take the kick. During this time La Herradura FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Ernesto Baldovino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Moodys IF's Azam Sum did a great save. 7 minutes into the match, La Herradura FC's goalkeeper You Sheng Qi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brian May. Kjell-Arne Åberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. You Sheng Qi came out and tried to block the shot, but Kjell-Arne Åberg slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Brytan in the 14th minute of play forced Moodys IF's goalkeeper Azam Sum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 played minutes La Herradura FC got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Grillo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Tidén in the 18th minute of play forced La Herradura FC's goalkeeper You Sheng Qi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Moodys IF getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Traian Ursu hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the match, Brian May dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of You Sheng Qi, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Brytan in the 30th minute of play forced Moodys IF's goalkeeper Azam Sum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernesto Baldovino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Azam Sum having to interfere. When Osvaldo Grillo came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the La Herradura FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldo Grillo couldn't finish the play. You Sheng Qi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johannes Tidén, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ernesto Baldovino to strike the kick off in the second half. You Sheng Qi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brian May in the 51st minute of play. You Sheng Qi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Tidén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Johannes Tidén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without You Sheng Qi having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Moodys IF's goalkeeper Azam Sum had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernesto Baldovino. Azam Sum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Baldovino in the 62nd minute of play. A collision led to La Herradura FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Ernesto Baldovino hit a great ball. Moodys IF's Sven-Erik Martinsson was substituted for Alex Kilstedt. The supporters of Moodys IF booed when La Herradura FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Baldovino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute, Marian Brytan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the match, La Herradura FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell-Arne Åberg came free, but You Sheng Qi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernesto Baldovino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Azam Sum when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 84 minutes into the match, La Herradura FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell-Arne Åberg came free, but You Sheng Qi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Prospero Oidor's late challenge caught a Moodys IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Prospero Oidor helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, La Herradura FC's Prospero Oidor got a free kick in the 89th minute. You Sheng Qi came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Moodys IF's Brian May. But to his dismay, Brian May quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Moodys IF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
