Mike Mills kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Plan B's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Carioca came free, but Leif Västberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Folke Flink blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ernani França having to make a save. Mané Camargo lost his temper 20 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After having played for 21 minutes, Michael Stipe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Plan B's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michael Stipe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Jens Westerberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernani França. Dinamo Web Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jens Westerberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jens Westerberg made a kick off.
