Brice Carey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hektor Krieglmeier in the 5th minute. Brice Carey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivo Claus in the 7th minute of play. Brice Carey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasco Jackisch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maurizio Brink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brice Carey having to interfere. Hektor Krieglmeier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Brice Carey made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Rot-Weiss-Essen's Hannes Kapell got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 17th minute, Roderick Higgins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brice Carey was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Maurizio Brink showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Rot-Weiss-Essen's Gunther Schößler got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Uwe Ziege made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Fuentes in the 25th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hektor Krieglmeier got free with Brice Carey in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rot-Weiss-Essen were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Key Biscayne FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hannes Kapell took the corner. In the 31st minute of the match Quinton Hood sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Uwe Ziege skillfully saved the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Vasco Jackisch recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Brice Carey. Vasco Jackisch showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Vasco Jackisch succeeded in the game's 37th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. The supporters of Rot-Weiss-Essen booed when Key Biscayne FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quinton Hood didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Hannes Kapell from long distance, 41 minutes into the match, got Brice Carey's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The supporters of Rot-Weiss-Essen booed when Key Biscayne FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Colin Kohler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivo Claus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Brice Carey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roderick Higgins's late challenge caught a Rot-Weiss-Essen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roderick Higgins helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th minute, Roderick Higgins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute Maurizio Brink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brice Carey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hektor Krieglmeier was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivo Claus in the 52nd minute of play forced Key Biscayne FC's goalkeeper Brice Carey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brice Carey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maurizio Brink went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 56th minute Hektor Krieglmeier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brice Carey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Key Biscayne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maurizio Brink came free, but Brice Carey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 65 minutes, Hektor Krieglmeier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rot-Weiss-Essen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hektor Krieglmeier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vasco Jackisch took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brice Carey. Brice Carey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Brice Carey came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Rot-Weiss-Essen's Ivo Claus. But to his dismay, Ivo Claus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. After 72 minutes of play, Rot-Weiss-Essen's Hektor Krieglmeier made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brice Carey was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ivo Claus struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Brice Carey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rot-Weiss-Essen. Brice Carey came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Rot-Weiss-Essen's Florian Hagen. But to his dismay, Florian Hagen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. In the 84th minute, Vasco Jackisch left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rot-Weiss-Essen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. 87 minutes into the match, Key Biscayne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hektor Krieglmeier came free, but Brice Carey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Maurizio Brink notched a goal, 12-0, to the right of Key Biscayne FC's Brice Carey. Brice Carey was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 92nd minute, Vasco Jackisch made a precise shot to the right of Brice Carey. Key Biscayne FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 13-0. Ivo Claus succeeded in the game's 95th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 14-0. Rot-Weiss-Essen's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
