The throw-in from Konstanty Pozorski in the 34th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Here Comes the Hammer's Hasse Brasse. Luis Maestro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlinhos Félix, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 41st match minute, FC Saxon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mei Yi Yang to maneuver through the defense. When Hasse Brasse came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Here Comes the Hammer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hasse Brasse couldn't finish the play. In the 44th match minute, Here Comes the Hammer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kārlis Straubegs to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to FC Saxon getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Kamen Beluhov hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Morgan Blom to make the kick off. Konstanty Pozorski made in the 54th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Czeslaw Sochacki however managed to control. In the 56th minute Dobromir Mosiniak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valter Klack saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Maestro made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Carlinhos Félix sent off a good shot on target. Here Comes the Hammer's Zlatan Nickerson was substituted for Carlinhos Félix. The supporters of FC Saxon booed when Here Comes the Hammer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hasse Brasse didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zlatan Nickerson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Here Comes the Hammer had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
