The audience thought a goal was coming when Anani Karayonchev got free with Esteban Guerrero in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Elliot Rosendal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 23 minutes into the game, when Hale Mckinnes put in a rough tackle. Esteban Guerrero had in the 24thth minute some difficulties stopping Donyo Gidikov's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Jarrett Maddern scored 0-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valentin Karakushev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Joel Åkerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berry Hertog in the 36th minute of play forced Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper Esteban Guerrero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Velko Lambov got free with Esteban Guerrero in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Randle Wilde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Miho Rankov made the kick off in the second half. Esteban Guerrero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berry Hertog in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Elderslie Magpies getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Elliot Rosendal hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute, Berry Hertog ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Esteban Guerrero was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Randle Wilde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joel Åkerman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute, Miho Rankov made a precise shot to the right of Esteban Guerrero. Elderslie Magpies's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After a rather tough play, Elderslie Magpies's Duke Trenoweth got a free kick in the 79th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Berry Hertog had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esteban Guerrero. Elderslie Magpies's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Berry Hertog was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 85th minute, Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elderslie Magpies's Esteban Guerrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Velko Lambov in the 87th minute of play.
