After a rather tough play, Kolopetinitsa's Sakis Touronis got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 26 minutes into the match, Börge Kristiansson notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Kolopetinitsa's Kyriakos Matsikidis. Kyriakos Matsikidis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Filippos Antoniou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ivar Albohm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the game, Strömsbro IF's Börge Kristiansson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Börge Kristiansson couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The supporters of Kolopetinitsa booed when Strömsbro IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gunnar Bergstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Markos Melisofagos came free, but Ivar Albohm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Börge Kristiansson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Kyriakos Matsikidis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Börge Kristiansson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kyriakos Matsikidis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Markos Melisofagos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sakis Touronis hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Ola Ahlbom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kolopetinitsa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ola Ahlbom was slow to take the kick. During this time Strömsbro IF's players had a chance to rest. Strömsbro IF's attentive Ola Ahlbom managed to snatch the ball when Sakis Touronis made a throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game. Kyriakos Matsikidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Nyman in the 94th minute of play.
