Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ignacio Derwin started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute Domingo Jon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Carabajal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Purple Talents's Donato Azevedo got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, Michel Batistuta made a precise shot to the right of Erasmo Ixona. Marlin FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Marlin FC's Erasmo Ixona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Batistuta in the 15th minute of play. Michel Batistuta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erasmo Ixona read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Geronimo Isadore made in the 22nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Purple Talents's Jozef van Elderen. Casimiro Gonzales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anier Eufrasio got free with Iker Carabajal in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diego Goos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th match minute, Purple Talents was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Goos to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute, Jozef van Elderen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Purple Talents's Michel Batistuta in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marlin FC's goalie prevented a goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diego Goos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Pedro Hibai in the 52nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Purple Talents's Diego Weets. Michel Batistuta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erasmo Ixona having to make a save. 55 minutes into the match, Marlin FC's goalkeeper Erasmo Ixona had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michel Batistuta. Ahmet Emir Denizhan hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Derwin in the 62nd minute of play forced Purple Talents's goalkeeper Iker Carabajal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Marlin FC's Erasmo Ixona got control of the ball when Michel Batistuta tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Marlin FC defense, Michel Batistuta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erasmo Ixona. The Marlin FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erasmo Ixona should have stopped the shot. After 68 minutes of play, Purple Talents's Michel Batistuta made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erasmo Ixona was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Michel Batistuta came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Purple Talents fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michel Batistuta couldn't finish the play. Arnaldo Darien charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnaldo Darien the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Marlin FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Arnaldo Darien hit a great ball. Christof Bernage was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 76th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Diego Goos hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Donato Azevedo hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute, Purple Talents's Michel Batistuta ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Erasmo Ixona. Erasmo Ixona yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Iker Carabajal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Henry in the 87th minute of play. Nereo Henry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Carabajal having to interfere. In the 96th play minute Michel Batistuta came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Erasmo Ixona. 0-6. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Purple Talents walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
