Ignacio Derwin helped the player get up and apologised. Erasmo Ixona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomasz Gollob in the 23rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ignacio Derwin in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wit Drab saved Sawino SA from getting behind. Erasmo Ixona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 朱悦迅 in the 28th minute of play. Arnaldo Darien kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Ladislao Gonza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Erasmo Ixona made a huge save. Marlin FC's Domingo Jon got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Gilberto Garaile hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 44 played minutes Sawino SA got a freekick which was hit by Pankracy Cipa. Domingo Jon scored 0-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wit Drab, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The supporters of Marlin FC booed when Sawino SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacek Gollob didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stanislaw Domala kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After 61 played minutes Sawino SA got a freekick which was hit by Pankracy Cipa. In the 62nd minute, Ignacio Derwin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Despite this Erasmo Ixona quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Marlin FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tobiasz Chowaniec was slow to take the kick. During this time Sawino SA's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Marlin FC's goalie and right to Ladislao Gonza. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Marlin FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 92nd minute, Anier Eufrasio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Tomasz Gollob managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sawino SA's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomasz Gollob was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erasmo Ixona breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
