San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Oscar Passet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save San Lorenzo de Sarandi from getting a goal against them. Håkan Söderberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Ferman, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Natalio Ferman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Håkan Söderberg. Degerfors IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Natalio Ferman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Tuncay Cansever blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oscar Passet having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tuncay Cansever in the 14th minute of play forced San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goalkeeper Oscar Passet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tuncay Cansever kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Natalio Ferman struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Håkan Söderberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Lorenzo de Sarandi. Degerfors IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tuncay Cansever got free with Oscar Passet in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tuncay Cansever stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tuncay Cansever's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oscar Passet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Michel Rosendahl made a great header on Degerfors IF's corner, it was just that San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Oscar Passet managed to reach the ball for a save. Degerfors IF's Håkan Söderberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Francho in the 62nd minute of play. Natalio Calvino got a throw-in 66 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Blas Francho. After 68 played minutes San Lorenzo de Sarandi got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Guillelmus. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Oscar Passet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tuncay Cansever in the 71st minute of play. After 72 minutes San Lorenzo de Sarandi's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Witold Serwacki who took care of the corner kick. If Tuncay Cansever had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Oscar Passet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tuncay Cansever, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 90th match minute, Degerfors IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mattias Västlund to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Kråk kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Nico Otamendi sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Degerfors IF's Håkan Söderberg didn't even have to move. The San Lorenzo de Sarandi players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
