Rareș Papadima charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rareș Papadima the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 2 played minutes Unicorns ™ got a freekick which was hit by Rareș Papadima. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silverio Semeno in the 3rd minute of play forced Unicorns ™'s goalkeeper Corneliu Vulpăşin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alonzo Gervaso got free with Corneliu Vulpăşin in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alonzo Gervaso might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Corneliu Vulpăşin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alonzo Gervaso ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Paunero booed when Unicorns ™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iustinian Petre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Corneliu Vulpăşin made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Julian Abarca sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Unicorns ™'s Corneliu Vulpăşin got control of the ball when Silverio Semeno tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 22 minutes, Tudor Bodea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unicorns ™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Tudor Bodea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Corneliu Vulpăşin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Ruy, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Corneliu Vulpăşin was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Julian Abarca capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Julian Abarca really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 34th minute, Paunero's Alonzo Gervaso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 42 minutes into the match, Unicorns ™'s goalkeeper Corneliu Vulpăşin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silverio Semeno. Corneliu Vulpăşin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emilio Ruy in the 43rd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silverio Semeno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Gervaso in the 51st minute of play forced Unicorns ™'s goalkeeper Corneliu Vulpăşin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Paunero's Pastor Quirce got a free kick in the 52nd minute. The supporters of Unicorns ™ booed when Paunero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobaldo Peli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Unicorns ™'s Iustinian Petre shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 63rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Modesto Theodore but with some difficulty. After 66 minutes Unicorns ™'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Conrado Gartxot who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Conrado Gartxot almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Unicorns ™'s Corneliu Vulpăşin did a great save. Corneliu Vulpăşin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Ruy in the 70th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Silverio Semeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corneliu Vulpăşin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Corneliu Vulpăşin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Semeno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Unicorns ™'s Corneliu Vulpăşin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Quirce in the 75th minute of play. Corneliu Vulpăşin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Abarca in the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Gervaso in the 77th minute of play forced Unicorns ™'s goalkeeper Corneliu Vulpăşin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
