The audience thought a goal was coming when Aurelio Erruki got free with Yoto Boshikyov in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of 12 Monkeys booed when Los Patanes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvio Bemabe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute Mattæus Gerhof shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicanor Katia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 11th minute, but Yoto Boshikyov got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving 12 Monkeys hanging dry this time. 15 minutes into the match, 12 Monkeys's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Erruki came free, but Yoto Boshikyov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee showed Serafin Chico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Denis Raymond recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yoto Boshikyov was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Aurelio Erruki capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. After 39 played minutes Los Patanes got a freekick which was hit by Serafin Chico. 43 minutes into the match, 12 Monkeys's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Erruki came free, but Yoto Boshikyov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 46 minutes, Aurelio Erruki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Patanes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 12 Monkeys the free kick. After 52 played minutes Los Patanes got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Bemabe. Los Patanes's Nicanor Katia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattæus Gerhof in the 53rd minute of play. Rainer Akgaard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicanor Katia having to make a save. In the 58th minute, Mattæus Gerhof reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nicanor Katia. The goal made the score 1-1. Yoto Boshikyov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Erruki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the 12 Monkeys defense, Silvio Bemabe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yoto Boshikyov. The 12 Monkeys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yoto Boshikyov should have stopped the shot. After 69 played minutes 12 Monkeys got a freekick which was hit by Alex Mygind. Arnaldo Munio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Yoto Boshikyov. 12 Monkeys's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Yoto Boshikyov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Erruki in the 71st minute of the match. Nicanor Katia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eli Thode, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the game, Aurelio Erruki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Aurelio Erruki put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Yoto Boshikyov. 12 Monkeys's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
