The supporters of Tykhela FC booed when Danone CC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Otávio Massa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hando Lints in the 31st minute of play. If Júnior Veloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hando Lints received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Otávio Massa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tykhela FC's Gianluigi Donnarumma proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Tykhela FC from getting a goal against them. After the first half Tykhela FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
