Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Adam Jäckel kicked off to start the match. After 6 played minutes, SV Bad Harzburg's Larry von Stetten shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Erich Pietta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SV Bad Harzburg reached it. In the 7th minute Mark Stripf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Wiese saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Gideon Weber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute Adam Jäckel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Wiese saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, SV Bad Harzburg's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Jäckel came free, but Tim Wiese reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the SV Bad Harzburg defense, Adam Jäckel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tim Wiese. The SV Bad Harzburg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tim Wiese should have stopped the shot. Mathieu Tippelt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Tim Wiese when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 32 minutes, Mathieu Tippelt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hertha 1969 and the SV Bad Harzburg players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Hertha 1969's Mathieu Tippelt got a free kick in the 32nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Halldor Sönksen in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erich Pietta saved Hertha 1969 from getting behind. In the 34thth minute of the game Halldor Sönksen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hertha 1969's Erich Pietta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mathieu Tippelts short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Tim Wiese to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tim Wiese stood somewhat misplaced when Mathieu Tippelt came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 36 minute. With a little luck, SV Bad Harzburg's Tim Wiese got control of the ball when Mathieu Tippelt tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Hertha 1969 getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Klemens Teubner hit a great ball. Gideon Weber kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eckard Döngelli was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to SV Bad Harzburg getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Eckard Döngelli hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adam Jäckel in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tim Wiese prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 54th minute, Gideon Weber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Hertha 1969 fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Hertha 1969's Adam Jäckel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tim Wiese stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adam Jäckel's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. With his leg Erich Pietta managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when SV Bad Harzburg's Halldor Sönksen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Stripf in the 67th minute of play forced SV Bad Harzburg's goalkeeper Tim Wiese to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gideon Weber charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gideon Weber the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SV Bad Harzburg getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Gideon Weber hit a great ball. In the 75th minute Adam Jäckel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Wiese saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tim Wiese made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Stripf in the 77th minute of play. The supporters of SV Bad Harzburg booed when Hertha 1969 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathieu Tippelt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute, Gideon Weber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to SV Bad Harzburg getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Emanuel Schrappe hit a great ball. Semjon Schapiro missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 85 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Tim Wiese right hand side. Tim Wiese took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathieu Tippelt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tim Wiese showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Stripf, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Hertha 1969 had played much better football throughout.
