Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Wincenty Mocko got the match started through his kick off. MKS Mazur Ełk's Michal Karbownik managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dionisio Oton in the 2 minute of the game. Enrique Lekubegi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wincenty Mocko in the 7th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the game, Dionisio Oton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palermo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MKS Mazur Ełk the free kick. Dionisio Oton kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Enrique Lekubegi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Abeitia, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Enrique Lekubegi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipo Inzaghi in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, MKS Mazur Ełk's Filipo Inzaghi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enrique Lekubegi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 14th minute MKS Mazur Ełk were awarded a corner. Iwan Kolacki went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led MKS Mazur Ełk's Iwan Kolacki to fire away a dangerous shot which Enrique Lekubegi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to MKS Mazur Ełk getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Iwan Kolacki hit a great ball. In the 19th minute Wincenty Mocko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Lekubegi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Palermo's goalkeeper Enrique Lekubegi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Barnaba Kiszkiel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicanor Gaufred's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. After some careless play in the Palermo defense, Filipo Inzaghi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enrique Lekubegi. The Palermo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enrique Lekubegi should have stopped the shot. After taking down the ball on MKS Mazur Ełk's corner Rafal Ryback fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Enrique Lekubegi quite easily take care of the ball. Wincenty Mocko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Enrique Lekubegi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Filipo Inzaghi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enrique Lekubegi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Enrique Lekubegi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wincenty Mocko in the 47th minute of play.

Filipo Inzaghi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enrique Lekubegi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wincenty Mocko in the 61st minute. MKS Mazur Ełk's Teobald Gregorczyk was substituted for Rafal Ryback. MKS Mazur Ełk's Idacio Helguera was substituted for Wincenty Mocko. After 69 played minutes Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Fernendo. 70 minutes into the game, Filipo Inzaghi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Enrique Lekubegi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipo Inzaghi in the 75th minute of play forced Palermo's goalkeeper Enrique Lekubegi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrique Lekubegi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Idacio Helguera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute Idacio Helguera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Lekubegi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute Evelio Guipuzkoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barnaba Kiszkiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Filipo Inzaghi notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Palermo's Enrique Lekubegi. Enrique Lekubegi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. MKS Mazur Ełk's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
