Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Humberto Mel to make the kick off. Fabrizio Eboli kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 61st minute Alberigo Gianfrancesco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roque Montes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of XMAS booed when Timo! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. When Warner Timo fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Timo!'s protests and gave Warner Timo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Timo!'s Warner Timo got a free kick in the 79th minute. After 85 played minutes Timo! got a freekick which was hit by Warner Timo. Humberto Mel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armando Polidori having to make a save.
