Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rupert McClure kicked off to start the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Blas-Armando Giunta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ismael Alves. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. In the 7thth minute of the game Blas-Armando Giunta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tamboril's Ismael Alves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ismael Alves came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting de Gijón's Blas-Armando Giunta. But to his dismay, Blas-Armando Giunta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Felipe Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felipe Lopez's late challenge caught a Sporting de Gijón's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felipe Lopez helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Tamboril getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Felipe Lopez hit a great ball. Blas-Armando Giunta hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. A collision led to Sporting de Gijón getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Celedonio Kinsen hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, Sporting de Gijón's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Lopez came free, but Desiderio Frederik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 34 in the game by Blas-Armando Giunta from a close distance when the talented Ismael Alves managed to make a qualified save. Tamboril's players were relieved. Ismael Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas-Armando Giunta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Tamboril getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Felipe Lopez hit a great ball. If Amadeo Panpili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Blas-Armando Giunta sped through Tamboril's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ismael Alves. Tamboril's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arthur Paraíba in the 45th minute. Blas-Armando Giunta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Blas-Armando Giunta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eulalio Soter kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Sporting de Gijón's Aaron Anselmino was substituted for Cristian Medina. Arthur Paraíba struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Desiderio Frederik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tamboril. Tamboril made a substitution. Raphael Carioca replaced Adrianinho Camargo. In the 62nd minute Ulisses Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desiderio Frederik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Blas-Armando Giunta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sporting de Gijón made a substitution. Gustavo Quintin replaced Eloy Timo. The supporters of Sporting de Gijón booed when Tamboril was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Félix didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ismael Alves came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting de Gijón's Blas-Armando Giunta. But to his dismay, Blas-Armando Giunta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. 81 minutes into the game, Ulisses Antunes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Desiderio Frederik. Ulisses Antunes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-2. After a rather tough play, Sporting de Gijón's Aaron Anselmino got a free kick in the 85th minute. With his leg Desiderio Frederik managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Tamboril's Rupert McClure fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ismael Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas-Armando Giunta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celedonio Kinsen hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Tamboril's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
