In the 6th match minute, Pinhote FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabrício Quaresma to maneuver through the defense. After 6 played minutes, Team Rocco's Mark Överman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Higino Pessoa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Team Rocco reached it. 8 minutes into the game, Jan-Olof Hedling cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Higino Pessoa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Team Rocco's Fredrik Bjurström got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 14th match minute, Pinhote FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zezé Haaland to maneuver through the defense. After 21 played minutes Team Rocco got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Olof Hedling. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Zezé Haaland put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Christer Kullander. Gualter Lencastre kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Christer Kullander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermenegildo Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Pinhote FC's Zezé Haaland got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christer Kullander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Rijo in the 33rd minute of the match. Jan-Olof Hedling might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Higino Pessoa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan-Olof Hedling ran back to his position shaking his head. Jan-Olof Hedling's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Higino Pessoa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pinhote FC's Gualter Lencastre got a free kick in the 42nd minute.

The wind increased when Fredrik Bjurström made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fredrik Bjurström in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Higino Pessoa saved Pinhote FC from getting behind. With his leg Christer Kullander managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Pinhote FC's Zezé Haaland fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Zezé Haaland in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Christer Kullander, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Team Rocco's Viggo Mellbad got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Pinhote FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Adélio Vilas Boas hit a great ball. In the 61st minute, Pedro Neto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Higino Pessoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Bjurström, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The supporters of Team Rocco booed when Pinhote FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adélio Vilas Boas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zezé Haaland in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Christer Kullander, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Higino Pessoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Olof Hedling in the 70th minute of play. A collision led to Pinhote FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Severiano Prates hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zezé Haaland in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christer Kullander saved Team Rocco from getting behind. Pinhote FC's Severiano Prates shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 78th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Christer Kullander but with some difficulty. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zezé Haaland in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christer Kullander saved Team Rocco from getting behind. In a very dangerous position, a player in Team Rocco fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! Christer Kullander had in the 87thth minute some difficulties stopping Zezé Haaland's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball Zezé Haaland scored 1-2 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christer Kullander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Christer Kullander managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Pinhote FC's Zezé Haaland fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 96th minute, Zezé Haaland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pinhote FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pinhote FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
