Israel Dacio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edvaldo Leal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfredinho Freitas to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredinho Freitas got free with Lorien Vilela in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Vänge IF fans cheered their team off the field, for while SORRISO E. C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
