Goranesti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. A collision led to Goranesti getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Nae Contra hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Dario Palermo took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Alin Tender to make any attempt to save it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leontin Corvin during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alin Tender made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Adriano Di Marco sent off a good shot on target. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Goranesti's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adriano Di Marco was slow to take the kick. During this time Cesate's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Cesate's Frank Magliocco to fire away a dangerous shot which Alin Tender despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Frank Magliocco kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dario Palermo was the one to do the kick off. Daniel Cămărășan lost his temper 53 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, Goranesti's Daniel Cămărășan got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Alin Tender showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Palermo, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Alin Tender made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Di Marco in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Ennio Grasso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alin Tender was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Alin Tender showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eraldo Di Matteo, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Goranesti's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Palermo came free, but Alin Tender reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alin Tender made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Palermo in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the game, Cesare Capasso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Alin Tender was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leontin Corvin kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Goranesti defense, Eraldo Di Matteo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alin Tender. The Goranesti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alin Tender should have stopped the shot. Cesate walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
