After a rather tough play, FC Wil 1900's Roberto Birchler got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 15th minute of the match ZigZag Athletic got a corner. FC Wil 1900's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bengt-Rune Öman ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on ZigZag Athletic's corner Bengt-Rune Öman fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Yanic Kulenovic quite easily take care of the ball. If Jesper Vollander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gösta Messi in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yanic Kulenovic prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd minute, Jesper Vollander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yanic Kulenovic was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. FC Wil 1900's Yanic Kulenovic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesper Vollander in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Wil 1900's Roberto Birchler got a free kick in the 26th minute. After 27 minutes, Jesper Vollander made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. FC Wil 1900's Yanic Kulenovic tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jesper Vollander blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yanic Kulenovic having to make a save. In the 32nd minute Jesper Vollander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yanic Kulenovic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teofilo Distiratsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinhard Eichel in the 35th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Adam Hinnen could shoot a difficult shot in the 37th minute, which Teofilo Distiratsu however easily saved by the left post. Yanic Kulenovic didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jesper Vollander went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. A collision led to ZigZag Athletic getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Gösta Messi hit a great ball. After the first half ZigZag Athletic were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Yanic Kulenovic didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when ZigZag Athletic's Gösta Messi shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-4 in the ordered_time% minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adam Hinnen in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teofilo Distiratsu saved ZigZag Athletic from getting behind. Yanic Kulenovic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gösta Messi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Jesper Vollander managed to get in a good position for a shot. ZigZag Athletic's supporters rose to their feet, but Jesper Vollander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yanic Kulenovic breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adam Hinnen scored 1-4 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teofilo Distiratsu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of FC Wil 1900 booed when ZigZag Athletic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt-Rune Öman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tran Brünisholz hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Bengt-Rune Öman was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 72nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to ZigZag Athletic getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Hector Ares hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute Gösta Messi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yanic Kulenovic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teofilo Distiratsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vagner Penisson, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roland Cirella in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teofilo Distiratsu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The ZigZag Athletic supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ZigZag Athletic would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
