Victor de Salles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Ticho having to interfere. Jonathan Fonseca's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Edelmiro Ticho skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 19 minutes, Tiago Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flying Dutch's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiago Correia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Esteban Laurentzi to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, Almeyra F.C.'s Arthur Amorim threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Esteban Laurentzi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Edelmiro Ticho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Correia in the 62nd minute of play. Tiago Correia struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Edelmiro Ticho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flying Dutch. Flying Dutch's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
