Apolo Larrañaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rostislav Sitarski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zhelyazko Davidov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Eloi Ocomardia put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Apolo Larrañaga. In the 21st minute, Jose Miguel Echeandía hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 22 played minutes, VN SOKOLI-VARNA's Trifon Mladenov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Apolo Larrañaga came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in VN SOKOLI-VARNA reached it. Apolo Larrañaga came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by VN SOKOLI-VARNA's Eloi Ocomardia. But to his dismay, Eloi Ocomardia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 31 minutes into the match, Talcampeón FC's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Bolyukov came free, but Apolo Larrañaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Talcampeón FC's goalkeeper Apolo Larrañaga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cosme Mella kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Pavlin Bochev took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Apolo Larrañaga. Talcampeón FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Apolo Larrañaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vihren Bozhanov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Apolo Larrañaga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rostislav Sitarski's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tanio Lezaeta to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Vihren Bozhanov reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Apolo Larrañaga. The goal made the score 0-4. A hard shot 56 in the game by Rostislav Sitarski from a close distance when the talented Apolo Larrañaga managed to make a qualified save. Talcampeón FC's players were relieved. If Igor Bolyukov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Andon Traychev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Talcampeón FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Cosme Mella hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Rostislav Sitarski managed to get in a good position for a shot. VN SOKOLI-VARNA's supporters rose to their feet, but Rostislav Sitarski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Apolo Larrañaga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rostislav Sitarski got free with Apolo Larrañaga in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rostislav Sitarski did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-5 to the left of a surprised Apolo Larrañaga 67 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the match, Talcampeón FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rostislav Sitarski came free, but Apolo Larrañaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tanio Lezaeta struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Haralampi Kúrkelanov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talcampeón FC. Talcampeón FC's Apolo Larrañaga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Talcampeón FC from getting a goal against them. Rostislav Sitarski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Larrañaga having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Vihren Bozhanov made a precise shot to the right of Apolo Larrañaga. Talcampeón FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Apolo Larrañaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vihren Bozhanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Cosme Mella hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. When Eloi Ocomardia came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the VN SOKOLI-VARNA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eloi Ocomardia couldn't finish the play. VN SOKOLI-VARNA played a much better game than Talcampeón FC and deserved their victory. The Talcampeón FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
