The audience was convinced that Tolek Bartocha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Călin Boteanu was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Niolaao Lobregon helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Twierdza Wroclaw booed when DINAMO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niolaao Lobregon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kajetan Turak was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Ryszard Borcz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ryszard Borcz really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Kajetan Turak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryszard Borcz in the 14th minute of play. Călin Boteanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tolek Bartocha in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, DINAMO's goal looked a bit too open when Tytus Zieba came free, but Călin Boteanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tolek Bartocha in the 18th minute of play forced DINAMO's goalkeeper Călin Boteanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. DINAMO's Călin Boteanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tolek Bartocha in the 19th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Tolek Bartocha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Călin Boteanu was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. 26 minutes into the match, Twierdza Wroclaw's goal looked a bit too open when Călin Feroiu came free, but Kajetan Turak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, DINAMO's Niolaao Lobregon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kajetan Turak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. A collision led to Twierdza Wroclaw getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Szczepan Damaski hit a great ball. Kajetan Turak came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by DINAMO's Dumitru Opincaru. But to his dismay, Dumitru Opincaru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Aurelian Dragomir was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 44 minutes into the match. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for DINAMO! In the 45th minute there was a penalty for Twierdza Wroclaw. Cyryl Kossakowski stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Călin Boteanu. 3-2. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Tolek Bartocha made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tolek Bartocha in the 54th minute of play forced DINAMO's goalkeeper Călin Boteanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the game, Twierdza Wroclaw's Tolek Bartocha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Călin Boteanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. After 74 played minutes Twierdza Wroclaw got a freekick which was hit by Ludomil Makarewicz. Călin Feroiu took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kajetan Turak. Kajetan Turak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-4. Călin Feroiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Kajetan Turak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Witalis Glozor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Călin Boteanu was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. If Dumitru Opincaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dumitru Opincaru blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kajetan Turak having to make a save. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
