Stefan Ciempa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jhon Arias, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 6 minutes into the match, CE LAJEADENSE RS's goal looked a bit too open when Krzysztof Kluska came free, but Harry Kane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zielonka Gdansk's Stefan Ciempa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Gustavo Siqueira in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Ye Xiang ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stefan Ciempa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Renan da Fonseca hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Renan da Fonseca in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stefan Ciempa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stefan Ciempa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renan da Fonseca in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute Ye Xiang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Ciempa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Ye Xiang got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Stefan Ciempa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 36 minutes into the match, Ye Xiang had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stefan Ciempa. Zielonka Gdansk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ye Xiang was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The supporters of CE LAJEADENSE RS booed when Zielonka Gdansk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilbert Marchewka didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 42 minutes, Renan da Fonseca made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Zielonka Gdansk's Stefan Ciempa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 48 minutes into the match, Renan da Fonseca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stefan Ciempa. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

53 minutes into the match, He Qiang Sang dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Stefan Ciempa, 0-5. After a rather tough play, Zielonka Gdansk's Mariusz Borowski got a free kick in the 56th minute. Gilbert Marchewka kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Stefan Ciempa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Renan da Fonseca in the 60th minute. Stefan Ciempa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ye Xiang in the 94th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. CE LAJEADENSE RS walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
