Franklin Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Quin in the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmílson Cunha in the 16th minute of play forced Tasso FC's goalkeeper Monte Lobato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.D Garotos do Vale's goalkeeper Franklin Montenegro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edmílson Cunha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Monte Lobato made a huge save. Benedicto Quin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A.D Garotos do Vale's Franklin Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Quin in the 47th minute of play. Franklin Montenegro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benedicto Quin went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmílson Cunha to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Tasso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Roque came free, but Monte Lobato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tasso FC's Monte Lobato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Roque in the 54th minute of play. When Victor Roque fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.D Garotos do Vale's protests and gave Victor Roque a yellow card for diving instead. Franklin Montenegro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Benedicto Quin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 62 minute of play. Antônio Alcântara's late challenge caught a Tasso FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antônio Alcântara helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th minute, Antônio Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Benedicto Quin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the game, Victor Roque cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Monte Lobato was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Franklin Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Quin, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After having played for 77 minutes, Benedicto Quin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tasso FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedicto Quin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tasso FC's Severiano Torcato was substituted for Santos Benet. Victor Roque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Monte Lobato having to interfere. A.D Garotos do Vale's Edmílson Cunha got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Franklin Montenegro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Chu Tasso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 92 minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Chu Tasso recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Franklin Montenegro. Chu Tasso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. The Tasso FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tasso FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
