Octav Molodețiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavi Thayer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the game, Cobresal's Florín Sances nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Octav Molodețiu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 22nd minute Pedro Truylos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Mayol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Pincheira in the 24th minute of play forced Berutti FC's goalkeeper Octav Molodețiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Octav Molodețiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florín Sances, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Pedro Truylos kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Cobresal's Florín Sances nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Octav Molodețiu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Everardo Anaya stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Patricio Mayol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Truylos in the 54th minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, Pedro Truylos notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Cobresal's Patricio Mayol. Patricio Mayol was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Octav Molodețiu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florín Sances in the 76th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xavi Thayer got free with Octav Molodețiu in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th minute, Cobresal's Salvador Roldán ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Octav Molodețiu. Octav Molodețiu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. The Cobresal players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
