In the 12th minute, Miro Klose left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SSV Ulm 1846 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 15th minute Adam Dieler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feodor Thelen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SSV Ulm 1846's Simon Bachmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugene Mullis in the 17th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Zelg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Dieler came free, but Feodor Thelen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SSV Ulm 1846's Simon Bachmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save SSV Ulm 1846 from getting a goal against them. Laurenz Sprecher was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After 31 played minutes SSV Ulm 1846 got a freekick which was hit by Mosche Röttgens. 31 minutes into the match, SSV Ulm 1846's goal looked a bit too open when Gualtiero Nacht came free, but Simon Bachmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of SSV Ulm 1846 booed when Zelg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugene Mullis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Simon Bachmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugene Mullis in the 54th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Zelg FC's Philippe Vehma got a free kick in the 55th minute. Philippe Vehma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Bachmann having to interfere. Willem Migneault kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Adam Dieler could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Feodor Thelen however easily saved by the left post. Simon Bachmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philippe Vehma, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Simon Bachmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugene Mullis in the 80th minute of the match. If Philippe Vehma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th match minute, SSV Ulm 1846 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mosche Röttgens to maneuver through the defense. Zelg FC's Philippe Vehma got his second yellow card of the match in the 90th minute. The referee ordered Philippe Vehma off the ground. A collision led to Zelg FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Philippe Vehma hit a great ball. SSV Ulm 1846's Simon Bachmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualtiero Nacht in the 93rd minute of play. Willem Migneault kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
