The audience was convinced that Eliézer da Silveira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaspar Leheren was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Umberto Dionísio hit a great ball. In the 15th minute Fredric Klint shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernandão Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nilson Veloso hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. BENA FK's Gaspar Leheren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliézer da Silveira in the 17th minute of play. Gaspar Leheren was a little too slow when Eliézer da Silveira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 1-0. Fernandão Penha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fredric Klint went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliézer da Silveira got free with Gaspar Leheren in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Eliézer da Silveira in the 36th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Gaspar Leheren kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-1 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Edvard Johnsson kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Leonardo Trancoso notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of BENA FK's Gaspar Leheren. Gaspar Leheren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg Gaspar Leheren managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Castanheiro SC's Eliézer da Silveira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eliézer da Silveira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Eliézer da Silveira sped through BENA FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gaspar Leheren. 59 minutes into the match, BENA FK's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Trancoso came free, but Gaspar Leheren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute Castanheiro SC were awarded a corner. Célio Pena went to the cornerflag to take it. Castanheiro SC's Célio Pena was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gaspar Leheren in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience was convinced that Eliézer da Silveira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaspar Leheren was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Marcelo Eger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Leheren having to interfere. Gaspar Leheren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castanheiro SC. After 71st play minutes Eliézer da Silveira shot 6-1, a short shot which went by Gaspar Leheren and just under the crossbar into goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eliézer da Silveira in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaspar Leheren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Marcelo Eger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castanheiro SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Eger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaspar Leheren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Marcelo Eger came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Castanheiro SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Eger couldn't finish the play. Ragnar Ivarsson's late challenge caught a Castanheiro SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ragnar Ivarsson helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to BENA FK getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Ragnar Ivarsson hit a great ball. The Castanheiro SC fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Castanheiro SC's Eliézer da Silveira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Castanheiro SC's Eliézer da Silveira got a free kick in the 85th minute. The Castanheiro SC fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Castanheiro SC's Eliézer da Silveira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Castanheiro SC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
