Ciruel Academy's Themistoklis Saveris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edoardo Pasin in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cevat Birsel in the 5th minute of play forced Ciruel Academy's goalkeeper Themistoklis Saveris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Themistoklis Saveris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edoardo Pasin in the 8th minute of play. Edvin van der Sar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Coronel Durango in the 14th minute of the match. Themistoklis Saveris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cevat Birsel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ciruel Academy booed when Senator S.A.K was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cillian Murphy didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edoardo Pasin in the 19th minute of play forced Ciruel Academy's goalkeeper Themistoklis Saveris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Themistoklis Saveris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cevat Birsel in the 20th minute of the match. Themistoklis Saveris didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edoardo Pasin went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cevat Birsel during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ciruel Academy booed when Senator S.A.K was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cevat Birsel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edoardo Pasin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Themistoklis Saveris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. If Edoardo Pasin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 44th minute Edoardo Pasin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Themistoklis Saveris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edoardo Pasin was the one to do the kick off. Alif Ching made in the 54th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Senator S.A.K's Gilbert Tusk. 56 minutes into the game, Senator S.A.K's Edoardo Pasin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Themistoklis Saveris made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After a rather tough play, Ciruel Academy's Glenn Sommers got a free kick in the 58th minute. With a little luck, Ciruel Academy's Themistoklis Saveris got control of the ball when Mehdi Dündaroğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Senator S.A.K's Ziemowit Mis was substituted for Tadeusz Zabrzeski. Cevat Birsel hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredo Llanos got free with Themistoklis Saveris in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Senator S.A.K getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Arda Güler hit a great ball. When Mircea Balint came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Ciruel Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mircea Balint couldn't finish the play. Edvin van der Sar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Crispin Klander in the 71st minute of play. Themistoklis Saveris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Llanos, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Luis Torrente in the 75th minute of play forced Senator S.A.K's goalkeeper Edvin van der Sar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Senator S.A.K's Edvin van der Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Coronel Durango in the 76th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Senator S.A.K's Alfredo Llanos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Themistoklis Saveris made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Alfredo Llanos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Senator S.A.K eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
