Nina fc's Lucio Hernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Langoni in the 38th minute of play. Roque James might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucio Hernandez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roque James ran back to his position shaking his head. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angelo Ignado was the one to do the kick off. Lucas Langoni who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Lucio Hernandez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of ..Villa Rugby Club.. booed when Nina fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Taurino didn't get a good kick on the ball. ..Villa Rugby Club.. made a substitution. Arnoldo Asier replaced Roque James. After a rather tough play, Nina fc's Leandro Taurino got a free kick in the 61st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucas Langoni in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucio Hernandez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Leandro Taurino fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nina fc's protests and gave Leandro Taurino a yellow card for diving instead. Leandro Taurino kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Manuel Iban kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lucio Hernandez. That made the score 0-2 in the 84 minute of play. Nina fc's Lucio Hernandez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Nina fc from getting a goal against them.
