Justino Vigil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arthur Saba's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Justino Vigil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Rolandsson in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Average Joes's Arthur Saba got a free kick in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anacleto Beat in the 11th minute of play forced Average Joes's goalkeeper Victoriano Abel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pål Askestät in the 20th minute of play forced Real Ayuntamiento CF's goalkeeper Justino Vigil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pål Askestät might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Justino Vigil. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pål Askestät ran back to his position shaking his head. Justino Vigil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pål Askestät in the 25th minute of the match. Mateo Jakes kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Per Rolandsson got free with Justino Vigil in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Real Ayuntamiento CF booed when Average Joes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ganix Herrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Real Ayuntamiento CF's Justino Vigil got control of the ball when Arthur Saba tried to sneak it across the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Average Joes's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Libertad came free, but Victoriano Abel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute Per Rolandsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Vigil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Real Ayuntamiento CF booed when Average Joes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Löfgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Per Rolandsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Justino Vigil when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Justino Vigil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pål Askestät in the 47th minute of play. Average Joes's Martin Morat was substituted for Lukas Bäckman. Average Joes's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Filipp Krupatkih in the 49th minute. Average Joes's Filipp Krupatkih was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Justino Vigil in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximiliano Libertad was the one to do the kick off. Anacleto Beat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Pål Askestät had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yavuz Bülent Özger kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Victoriano Abel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Endura, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, Real Ayuntamiento CF's Omar Honesto got a free kick in the 69th minute. Justino Vigil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yavuz Bülent Özger, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After 73 played minutes Average Joes got a freekick which was hit by Per Rolandsson. Average Joes made a substitution. Jo Blanchaert replaced Pål Askestät. Average Joes's Jeremias Silban was substituted for Per Rolandsson.
